Narooma CWA news

Narooma CWA Handicraft has done it again. At the Far South Coast Group Land/Cookery Day, held at Bermagui Sports Club on Tuesday 10th March, the talented members items brought home the trophy for top scoring in branch items competition. Marion Cullen Narooma branch Handicraft Officer delighted in receiving trophy from FSCG Handicraft Officer Rhonda Byrnes . Mary Conley received Top award for her hardanger piece, with Pauline Cotterill being awarded best item in competition. Such talented ladies meet Friday mornings 10am -noon at Narooma CWA and are willing to introduce you to new handicraft, help with current projects or just chat while you work. The cookery entrants were not successful and these were sent to give Blazeaid workers something to have with their cuppas.

Since there are less than 500 people that attend the Narooma CWA Easter Saturday garage sale, we will be going ahead this year. Any donations of goods for the sale would be appreciated and can be dropped in at Fri mornings or at the upcoming Games Afternoon Weds 25th March 1.30pm $7 entry includes yummy afternoon tea and lots of fun. Scrabble, Uno, trouble, Snakes and ladders are just some games, the more players that come the more different games can be enjoyed. Need more info or transport or ring/text Joanne King 0408433178.
