It was with great delight at Narooma CWA AGM held Friday 2nd October that Robyn Wright ( Far Sth Coast Group Rep to State Executive) awarded 4 members of the branch with their Long Service Badges. Louise Starkie, Sandra Mott, Bernice Gale and Jenny Dickson have each given over 20 years of service to Narooma branch, serving in many different roles both at Branch and Group level. It was a pleasant surprise for these 4 hard working members.

All positions were filled at the AGM with Louise Starkie, President; Sally James , Secretary and Margaret Doyle, Treasurer heading the members. Members are looking forward to Far South Coast Group hosting the State AGM/Conference at Bega in May 2021, all being well. This will be a chance for those non-members to come along and find out what CWA really does, not just tea and scones.

A big thank you to the community for the support you gave at the Garage Sale Narooma branch held on Sunday 4th October. It was a very successful fundraiser, being the first held in a while. It was lovely to see people automatically sanitising and no complaints about providing contact numbers or physically distancing.

At Narooma craft group is meeting Friday mornings 10am till noon, all welcome to drop in and see if this is for you. Unfortunately choir/drama is still on hold while coronavirus is of concern, which would normally be held on Tuesday afternoons at 1.30pm/2.30pm.  If you need info contact Louise Starkie 4476-5131 or Sally James 4476-1691 or email cwa.narooma@gmail.com
