Narooma Camera Club was happy to have a training night run by Jeremy Wood on Camera basics - QnA on 1st March 2021 it was a very informative training night which was appreciated by those who attended. Big thanks to Jeremy for the work he put into making the training night interesting.
Our second set subject was MACRO photography with our open subject entries too.
We had 16 Members entering 48 images for judging.
We were very fortunate to have a magnificent judge from the Federation of Camera Club named Don Munro for our Monthly Subject of Macro Photography.
Don looks for the three criteria that occur in almost all successful photos:
Content: What is the photo about? What story are you telling? Why was it important to take this photograph?
Composition: Do all the elements of the photo help tell your “story” without distractions?
Technical: Does the lighting, exposure, depth of field, shutter speed, and other technical aspects help communicate your “story”?
Narooma Camera Club would like to sincerely thank Don for providing us with his fantastic breakdown on his feedback on our images, and useful hints on how to improve our photography.
