Narooma Boats Afloat Nov 15th to 17th

Narooma Boats Afloat is a weekend of fun for all those who love old boats when Narooma comes alive with good camaraderie and a display of wonderful boats From clinkers and putt-putts to launches, cruisers and yachts Narooma Boats Afloat celebrates Traditional Boats in all their varied forms. In spring every year since 2006 a weekend festival is held on and around the pristine waters and colourful boatsheds of Wagonga Inlet. Entry is free and is open to any traditional style boat – Putt Putts, Steam, Sail, Rowing and Kayaks. Each year they provide a relaxed program of boating activities on the crystal clear waters of Wagonga Inlet, so don't miss it!

For the participants there is a Friday welcome bbq, a Saturday cruise, then a jazz band and a stickybeak session for Saturday afternoon... an awesomely delicious Saturday night dinner and an incredible auction... and then hundreds of onlookers turn out to watch the "Grand Parade" along Narooma's pristine Wagonga Inlet under the bridge and along the Boardwalk that sees the weekend finish with a fantastic farewell bbq and a diehards' cruise...

Montague Art and Craft Society Inc - Boats Afloat Exhibition - Opens Friday evening November 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. And over the weekend from 10:00 till 4:00 Saturday 16 and Sunday 17th. MACS is linking up again with the Boats Afloat club and holding an Art & Craft Exhibition at the Pepper Family Boatshed, next door to the Narooma Marina, Forsters Bay. Once again showcasing our many talented local artists
