Moruya Women's Golf Gold playoff

On Wednesday, 2nd October, 28 Moruya Women Golfer’s played in the Gold Medal Playoff.

In a highly contested round Div.1’s Dee Meek totally dominated taking out 1st place with an enviable 72 nett. Christine Edwards was runner-up with a most inspiring 74 nett.

Jan Young was the worthy winner of Div.2 with a most impressive 75 nett whilst quiet achiever and runner-up Joan Hosking scored 79 nett.

Div.3’s Joanne Dixon excelled herself for the second consecutive week taking out 1st place with an outstanding 75 nett, whilst runner-up Judy Love scored a notable 76 nett.

NTP winner’s were Dee Meek on the 5th, Jan Woolley on the 6th, Sharon Knight on the 10th and Vicki Goodwin on the 12th.

Moruya Women Golfer’s played a Single Stableford on Wednesday 9th October.

Div.1 winner Robyn Hawkins was in great form scoring a commendable 35 nett. Barbara Swain was runner-up with 33 nett on C/B.

Div. 2 winner Judi Hebbard scored a notable 34 nett whilst runner-up Phyllis Reid had 33 nett.

Nearest the Pin winner ‘s were Val Moore on the 5th, Robyn Hawkins on the 6th and Phyllis Reid on the 12th.
