In a brief meeting at Moruya Golf Club on Tuesday Moruya Probus Club committee went into some of the details of the annual meeting that will be held on March 24.
It was seen that while nominations had been received for most positions on the committee there were some vacancies. It is hoped more would be received by the time of the first monthly meeting of the year, on February 25.
There was also some discussion about the menu for the Changeover Luncheon that will be held at the Golf Club’s Double Green Restaurant following the annual meeting.
The monthly meeting will be told of a proposal to change the name of the club, and a proposed increase for the annual fee from $25 to $30. That will be put to the next monthly meeting for ratification.
The next full meeting will be held at the Golf Club with the guest speaker to be Amanda Annabel from Euroscope/toastmasters.
Moruya Probus meets at Moruya Golf Club at ten-o’clock on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
