Moruya Lady Golfer’s played the 4th Hamper Stableford Round with many player’s submitting some great scores.

Golf can be such a soul destroying game, but every now and then we hear of someone displaying extraordinary skill, or having sheer luck, of which the rest of us are left in awe. One such tale evolved when Vicki Goodwin tee’d off on the 5th, a Par 3, but all too common to golfer’s lost sight of her ball. Vicki’s hopes of finding her ball faded quickly when the search revealed the ball appeared to have vanished. As a late afterthought, the flag hole was checked and surprise, surprise sitting snuggly on the noodle was Vicki’s ball. Congratulations Vicki on the wonderful achievement of your first “Hole in One”.

Meanwhile, quiet achiever Jan Lumsden was methodically hitting her way around the course culminating in an exemplary score of 43 nett, and Division 1 winner. Lyn Gibb was the well deserved runner-up with a splendid score of 37 nett on C/B.

Division 2’s Judy Love continued on her winning streak scoring an impressive 39 nett, whilst runner-up Joanne Dixon maintained her focus throughout scoring a notable 36 nett.
