Wednesday 30th September

A field of thirty eight Moruya Lady Golfer’s played in a stroke Gold Medal

Playoff where 9 competitor’s were in contention for the prestigious Gold

Medal.

With such strong competition it was no easy feat for the recipient of the

Gold Medal, Division 1’s Annette O’Connell, but once again she came to

the fore and finished with an enviable score of 70 nett, narrowly taking the

lead from runner-up and hot contender Deirdre Meek with 71 nett.

Consistency reigned when Division 2’s Judith Love continued her winning

streak scoring a most impressive 72 nett and, from all accounts, runner-up

Cindy Becker also played one of her best resulting in another great score,

73 nett.
