Moruya General Practice and Skin Cancer Clinic Saturday FAST TRACK a winner


The Moruya General Practice and Skin Cancer Clinic has now settled into its stride having opened its doors late 2019, moving its newly renovated Mirrabooka Avenue premises. The Clinic, open Mon to Fri from 8 to 5.30, offers a Fast Track clinic for on the day appointments for those simple things such as a prescription renewals, certificates, or coughs and colds. Dr Martin Carlson told the Beagle "We are a fee paying practice, but offer a discounted rate for 6 to 8 minutes Fast Track appointments, available between 11 am and 1 pm each day. "On Saturday, we offer a walk in clinic with no appointment required. We are open from 9 am to 3 pm, and we are happy to see anyone on the day. Either drop in , or give us a call to check on waiting time. Again, fees will apply but an immediate rebate is available from Medicare if you bring your ATM card with you." Dr Martin Carlson has 30 years’ experience as a general practitioner, and more than 20 years in the local region. He has undertaken further training in the detection and management of skin cancers over the last two years, and is happy to be able to offer skin checks to identify and manage skin cancers. If you would like a skin check, please let reception know at the time of booking. "We can be contacted on 44070204, and have elected to not have internet bookings – it allows us to better accommodate your requirements.” Moruya General Practice and Skin Cancer Clinic are located at shop 10, 73 Vulcan Street Moruya, at the back of the Air Raid Hotel. The Clinic is centrally located to other health services and provides plenty of parking adjacent to the practice.
