Member for Bega speaks on the Abortion Issue

Last night Member for Bega, Andrew Constance MP spoke in NSW Parliament in support of removing abortion from the Crimes Act 1900.

Mr Constance said on his social media page "I understand that this is a complex and very sensitive issue, on which members of our community will have varying opinions."

"But I fully support a woman’s right to appropriate healthcare. And I support a woman’s right to choose.

"And that is why I believe abortion should be regulated as a health issue – not a criminal one.
