Thanks to all those who have got in touch in the past week seeking an update on the new hospital for the Eurobodalla Shire.
The Clinical Services Plan for our hospital has been drafted by the Southern NSW Local Health District and is currently under review by the Ministry of Health.
Once the CSP has been confirmed, the search for a hospital site will begin – I’ve been informed we can expect this early next year.
I think the thing we have to be mindful of is that planning for such a major piece of infrastructure is complex, and there’s a process that must be worked through before we can see shovels in the ground.
