Mayor Wrap-up Council meeting Tue 25th July

Here’s Mathew Hatcher - Mayor Eurobodalla Shire putting Tuesday’s Council Meeting on the record. Code of Meeting Practice review that sees speakers now encouraged (not required) to supply their written presentation prior to Public Forum and Public Access sessions. Lease granted for land on the corner of Tomakin Road and the highway to allow community groups to rebuild after the fires. Good discussion around emergency preparedness and more advocacy to come to the state agencies "Thank you to members of the public who presented to Council today. We love it, keep it coming".

Read the full business paper and catch the meeting recording later this week at www.esc.nsw.gov.au/meetings

Editors Note: The album featured in this wrap-up is ("Subtract"), the sixth studio album by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. Council this week voted to subtract the word MUST from their Code of Meeting Practice in regards to presenters providing a summary to Council of their proposed presentation. With the word MUST subtracted presenters are now "encouraged".
