Marcel Kors Takes Out Stableford 3 Club Event

With the offer of a free light lunch following the game a good field of 67 players registered for the morning's Stableford 3 club event. Winner on the day was Marcel Kors with a great score of 22 points, 17 of which were scored on the first 6 holes - what a great effort Marcel! Runner up was Ann Ware on 21 beating home Ted Quinlan and Kathy Crossling both on 20. Balls or chocolates were won by Teri Swanbury and Len Rogers on 20, Bruce Ware, Peter McRae, Julie Barningham, Graham Moore, Sandra Hanlon, Steve Swanbury and our visitor Jim Montgomery playing his first ever game at Tuross with scores of 18, and finally Tony Crook, Rick Brake and Chris Wratten on 17. Blaise Madden struggled with the limited club choice available and was this week's Bradman winner. Nearest the pins went to Greg Thornton on the 4th, Steve Swanbury on the 6th, and to Ann Ware and Ken Brown on the 7th. Neal Watson won the Accuracy drive award.
