Man charged following stabbing – Narooma

A man has been charged following an alleged stabbing at North Narooma.

Emergency services were called to a home on Beachview Close in North Narooma at 12.40am on Friday (20 May 2022), following reports a 31-year-old man had been stabbed.

Police say an altercation occurred between two men, aged 31 and 24, who are known to each other.

The older man suffered a stab wound to his buttocks and upper leg and was flown to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police arrested the 24-year-old man who was charged with reckless wounding.

He was refused bail and due to appear in Wollongong Local Court today.
