Last Monday, Freedom Day a barbecue was held to welcome everyone back.
Tuesday was to be our first day back on the green but alas Mother Nature had other ideas, so most of us only got a couple of ends in before the rain came.
This continued all week with no bowls until at last on a lovely Sunday morning.
At present we only have the use of 1 green as the other green is being top dressed so there will be two sessions of bowls in the coming weeks, 9.30 am and 12.30pm Tuesday 26th October is Pink Day to raise money for Breast Cancer so everyone will be dressed in pink, there will be pink drinks and cup cakes to buy as well as some special raffle prizes, so come along and support this very worthy cause.
Although we didn’t bowl last week we helped Pat Bill celebrate her 80th Birthday.
