In an effort to educate Years 10 to 12 on sexual consent a video was made. The video went down like a lead balloon. It was considered confusing, patronising and missing the mark on a critical subject. But what if the video was simply out of context. What if we could salvage the video and use it to deliver a new message. Council are currently working out their next budget. Across the board there are calls for more funding to be spent on the core business of Council being Roads, Rates and Rubbish. We know that Council are proposing to sell off assets and that they are failing their maintenance of facilities. Of concern will be how they expect to meet the $2 million per year operation costs for the new Bay Pavilions (The Big Pav).
