Community Library Fire
Firefighters were devastated to be called to one of the community library stands in Batemans Bay last night.
Our crew were called just before 1am and arrived to find books thrown everywhere, the stand damaged and a small fire. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze before any further damage could be done.
This is incredibly upsetting behaviour to see in our local community, especially with malicious damage and vandalism towards a great way to allow everyone to share books with one another.
