A wonderful turn out to last weekend's Christmas Recovery Fair hosted by the Long Beach Community Association 2536 Long Beach and Maloneys Beach residents were invited to Sandy Place reserve to enjoy market stalls, jumping castles and a BBQ supported by funding from COORDINARE and the SE NSW Primary Health Network.

Above: Members of the LBCA committee at the Recovery Fair. From left to right, Robert Legeay, Councillor Maureen Nathan, Rodger Middlebrook, Geoff Hatton (President LBCA), Santa, Pippin the border collie, Sue Middlebrook and Colleen Krestensen. Photo taken by Sandra Meek, head of the social sub-committee and did so much of the work. Missing also is Ron Meek.

Above: Adrienne Conway, a long time Long Beach resident and supporter of NSW RFS - Long Beach Brigade presented the brigade with one of her paintings, destined to take pride of place in the brigade's meeting room.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
