Local Strike For Climate Change youth celebrate Thunberg announcement

Greta Thunberg has been named Time Magazine's 2019 Person of the Year making her the youngest-ever named by the prestigious magazine.

It is reported that she was chosen "for sounding the alarm about humanity's predatory relationship with the only home we have, for bringing to a fragmented world a voice that transcends backgrounds and borders, for showing us all what it might look like when a new generation lead".

"Wow, this is unbelievable! I share this great honour with everyone in the #FridaysForFuture movement and climate activists everywhere." Greta Thunberg Locally the #FridaysForFuture sit in continues on the main lawn of Eurobodalla Council and the rolling Student Strikes are building a momentum that will amplify in 2020.
