Jewellery heist in Moruya

MORUYA

South Coast Police are investigating a break and enter incident that occurred around 7:45pm Friday 8 April 2022 at a residential property in Hawdon Street, Moruya.

A rear door was accessed by an offender while the occupant was outside. Jewellery items were stolen.

The offender fled on foot. He is described as being 150 to 160 cms tall wearing dark pants, belt and a blue long-sleeved shirt with white motif on the back.

Police have recovered some of the jewellery however are still wanting to locate the following items:

Ring -18ct yellow gold Edwardian hoop 1890 circa with 5 old mine cut diamonds 3ct each.

Ring - 18ct gold large vintage Ceylon sapphire surrounded with white diamonds 1920 circa (Lady Diana style).
