Jaylah shines in her UK race wearing the Green and Gold

Jaylah Hancock-Cameron has made her mark at the England Athletics U20 and U23 Championships incorporating World Junior Trials, Bedford on Day One.

Over the years, this championship has played host to various national teams on tour, and this time it was the Australians who took advantage of that invite. Jaylah Hancock-Cameron, representing Australia (and Broulee) took the gold in the U23 women’s 1500m race in 4:16.37 easing away from Alexandra Millard (Invicta East Kent, Bill Foster) in the final 150 in what was a really exciting race that saw Millard do everything she could to shake off her Australian rival. Jaylah's next race in her International calendar will be in Dublin on July 24th running in the 1500m at the Tullamore AC Stadium, Spollanstown, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Best wishes - and may you run like the wind.
