Despite a forecast of showers during the morning a good field of 58 players registered to “exercise” in the Tuross Head Veterans Golf Stableford event on Wednesday 29 September 2021. Clear winner on the day was relative new golfer Jane Eglitis who blitzed the field with an outstanding score of 27 points for the 9 holes played. Jane was followed home in order by Ross Richardson, Dorothy Madden and Peter Coffey all on 22 points.
Minor prizes went to Tony Crook and Shirley Quinlan on 21, Allen Lee and Margaret Downey on 20, Ron Hanlon and Graham Moore on 19, and on 18 and count backs Robin Green, Teri Swanbury, Leonie Snodgrass, Bruce Harding, Don Russell and Steve Swanbury. Blaise Madden won the Bradman award.
