The Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program is coming to Batemans Bay, to help support for locally governed not-for-profit organisations.
Funded by The Snow Foundation, the program is designed to strengthen local not-for-profits, and in turn, rural communities, over a sustained period.
Batemans Bay will have access to up to $150,000 in grants to kick-start the program and help community groups to help themselves, so they can more effectively focus on what they set out to do to help their community.
IRCF Program Officer Tony Norman said "If you work for a local not-for-profit or have an interest in supporting your community, register to participate in the online workshop. We'll explain how the program will work, what the grants can support and what other support will be on offer."
