Ian Wratten Takes Out Tuross Head Vets Single Stableford

Sixty six players registered for Wednesday's Tuross Head Vets Golf Single Stableford event. Again good scores prevailed with the results perhaps reflecting a little more run on the course now that it is drying out. Winner on the day was Ian Wratten with a fine score of 26 points, beating home Ann Ware on 24, on 23 points Ron Hanlon and Greg Bush. Minor prizes went to Rick Brake, Henry Anderson, Gail Rogers, Andrew Gordon, Terry Lunn and Neal Watson with 22, Annette Manton and Frank Pomfret on 21, and finally Jeanette Miller, Steve Gardner, Shirley Quinlan, Derek Hoare and Greg Thornton all on 20 points. The infamous Bradman award was won this week by Des Jackson.
