Ian Lawson wins Tuross stableford golf

Tuross Head men’s golf stableford competition was won by well known local identity Ian Lawson with a commendable score of 39 points this week.

David Woolley and Herb Muriwai both finished with the same score of 39 points as the winner, but were relegated to the minor positions on  a countback.

Nigel Barling with a score of 38 points and Peter Hogan with 37 stableford points were both in the winning circle.

Tuross Head Thursday’s medley stableford competition resulted in a win for Allan Langford with a high 41 points.


Lynne McDonell scored a handy 37 points to fill second placing.

Nigel Barling, Ian Kingston all on 36 points and Jim Wade filled the minor award positions.
