House fire North Head Drive Moruya

Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya report: FRNSW P384, FRNSW Narooma 398, FRNSW Batemans Bay 217 were called to a house Fire, North Head Road Moruya, on arrival Moruya 384 found heavy smoke issuing from the rear of the building.

Within minutes the building become fully involved due to high fuel loads internally.

Crews in Breathing Apparatus attacked the fire from the rear and front of the building while crews from RFS Moruya, Broulee, Mogo and Bingie assisted with water cartage and fire attack of the rear.

Crews continued to extinguish the fire and was able to bring it under control and start the mop up of the site.

Crews returned to the site 9.30am 10/09/2021 to continue to extinguish hot spots with RFS.
