Herb Muriwai: Best of stableford field

Tuross Head men’s golf stableford competition, held on Saturday, resulted in a win for a well known member Herb Muriwai.  Herb returned a score of 37 points, finishing in front of Ian Kingston who scored 36 points.

Jim Wade, Frank Pomfret and Reg Apps were awarded when all returned 35 points.

Balls were awarded down to 30 points.

Tuross and prominent NSW south coast golfer Brad Doolan was the winner of the medley stableford competition on Thursday with  a score of 40 points.

Men’s golf president Andrew Gordon, also had a good day, when he finished a clear second with 38 points ahead of Bruce Lidbury, Bruce Cleeve and Shirley Quinlan who all finished with 36 points.

Joel Hilliard, received congratulations from competing players, when he scored a hole in one on the 13th hole. Well done Joel.
