Jaylah Hancock-Cameron has won the Zatopek 1500 in 4:14.19
Named after the renowned Czech distance runner Emil Zátopek, the ZÁTOPEK:10 is one of Australia’s most prestigious track races.
On December 15, 2022 Athletics Victoria celebrated the 62nd edition of this event at the home of athletics in Melbourne, Lakeside Stadium.
Featuring the Australian Women’s and Men’s 10,000m Championships, the celebration of athletics was supported by the U20 Ondieki Women’s and U20 de Castella Men’s 3000m and Open Women and Men’s 1500m and 800m events.
History will record Jaylah Hancock-Cameron as the 2022 Zatopek 1500 champion.
