Halloween around the Shire

Writer's picture: The BeagleThe Beagle

October 31st is Halloween. For all those that believe this is an American thing and we have to ignore it then off you go... this article is NOT for YOU. This article is for the young and the young at heart who love the chance to have a dress up, a bit of fun and a possible excess of yummy things by way of Trick or Treat. Trick or Treat around the neighbourhood dressed up ghoulishly is fun but there are some things you can do to keep it safe and to ensure the kids are well received. Tomakin embraces the Halloween event by encouraging parents to accompany the children, to knock on doors that have an encouraging Halloween item on their fence or mailbox to mark them as "Halloween Friendly". If you would like to offer your children a safe Halloween Friendly environment tomorrow Bodalla Dairy are hosting a fun, family event from 9am to 5pm with a free creepy bug ice cream for the children and afternoon music until 5pm

If you know of any other fun, family safe Halloween events planned for the 31st Oct then be sure to list them below in the comments.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
