Half baked boys in cowboy hats meet girls who pay $400 for half a hat

The Beagle Editor,

Racing NSW now own the Moruya Racecourse. Sold for less than a million dollars they will now inject capital into the facility saying it will bring growth to the local racing industry. Sammy J on the ABC told it like it is tonight. Is this what we want for the Nature Coast? Images of whipping horses that are put down for dog food if they don't perform? Council is in charge of the Moruya Showground. Every year they condone the brutality of rodeo for the sake of tourist dollars. It was put to them to ban the rodeo and they refused. Yet these same councillors moved to ban balloons and fizzy drinks on public reserves. Wow.

We are a rural community that has horses and cows. Do we tolerate their mistreatment? NO. So why do we condone horse racing that sends under performers to the knackery when they are just a few years old or allow bulls, cows and calves to be terrified at the annual Moruya Rodeo for the amusement of half witted boys in oversized hats?

Surely the "All Kinds of Natural" coast is better than that?
