Despite a number of late cancellations a good field of sixty five players registered for the Tuross Head Vets Golf Wednesday single Stableford competition. Winner on the day was Graham Moore with 26 points, beating home Warren Hodder with the same score on count back. Terry Challender beat home Greg Bush into third place with 23 points, again under a count back situation. Minor prizes went to Chris Wratten and Kevin Dukes with 22, Bruce Ware, Ross Macalpine, Ray Downey and Henry Anderson on 21, Kathy Crossling, Frank Pomfret, Ann Challender, Greg Smith, Rob Nash and Robin Green with 20, and finally Derek Hoare on 19 after a five way count back was required. Herb Muriwai had the honour of taking out this week's infamous Bradman award.
