Following on from the success of the Marine Rescue Tuross Moruya golf day that raised $18,000 there are two more Marine Rescue fund raising events coming up for the Narooma and Batemans Bay Marine Rescuers
Marine Rescue Batemans Bay is holding a Charity Golf Day to raise funds for the unit in support of the local and surrounding boating community "Volunteers Saving Lives on the Water". Support from individuals, businesses and organisations is critical to helping keep our services running and ready for those in need.
There are two ways to support this event:
- Sponsor a hole, donate some prizes and receive sponsorship package for your company, business or organisation.
- Get together groups of four friends and work colleagues and register as a team to play in the event
Marine Rescue is a volunteer rescue organisation, and is not fully funded by government funding. All funds raised from this event will be used in support of the operation of our 3 rescue vessels and the support functions at our base at Hanging Rock.
This event will also be holding a presentation dinner at the end of the golf day and it is hoped you can all come and join us at this event.
