Get Healthy with Dragon Boating in Narooma

Current research suggests that individuals can improve their likelihood of staying healthy and living longer if they participate in exercise that not only raises their heartrate but also involves learning something new in a fun and social environment.

Dragon Boating fits all of these criteria perfectly!

With spring just around the corner it is a perfect time to get out on the water with Narooma Blue Water Dragons. Whether you work, are retired, are a student, or the parent of young children there are up to three sessions every week at different times of the day to cater for everyone.

Dragon Boating is suitable for people of all ages and different fitness levels. The Club has two qualified coaches whose aim is to design training programs to suit everyone’s needs. Members can aim to compete in Regattas or even join Regional teams who travel around the world or you may just want to enjoy the stunning views and wildlife on our beautiful Wagonga Inlet.

Make September your Come ‘n’ Try month. Simply come down to our shed (next to the Quarterdeck Café on Riverside Drive) at 8.30am. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water, shoes and loose clothing that can get wet (appropriate for the weather). A paddle and life jacket (if you need one) are provided.

If you need more information email us at Narooma.bwd@gmail.com You can also follow us on facebook.
