On yet another beautiful Tuross morning a field of 55 players teed off for the mornings Single Stableford event. Winner on the day was Geoff Bellingham with an almost unbelievable score of 28 points for the nine holes played.
Geoff was followed home by Shirley Quinlan on 26, Leonie Snodgrass on 23 and Ray Downey on 22 on count back. Balls or chocolates were won by Ann Ware and Ken Brown on 22, Allen Lee, Noel Fletcher, Enid Besant-Ryan, Neil Mather and Jennifer Gray on 20, and finally Rick Brake, Graham Moore, Les Johanson and Steve Johnston on 19.
This week's Bradman award was taken out by visiting golfer Daniel Madden, whilst nearest the pins went to Graham Moore on the 4th on the toss of coin from Ken Brown (both players in the hole for a birdie), Terry Challender on the 6th, Leonie Snodgrass for the ladies on the 7th, whilst Greg Smith won on the 7th for the men on a toss of the coin from Neil Mather (both players in the hole for a birdie).
Neil Mather capped off a good morning with the Accuracy drive award on the 5th.
