Gail Rogers Wins Tuross Head Vets Golf After Resumption Of Competitions

"After a brief hiatus following Government and Health restrictions having been put in place, Vets Golf resumed operations today with a single Stableford game being played under a new regime, including a timesheet start and groups of two players only. Winner on the day was Gail Rogers with a great score of 23 points for the nine holes played. Gail was followed home by Annette Manton on 20, and Jeanette Miller with 19 on count back from Richard Wharton.

Other prize winners were Les Johanson, Chris Birks, Chris Wratten and Des Jackson on 18, and then Shirley Quinlan and Margaret Downey on 17.

Ron Hanlon took out the infamous Bradman award.
