From holding the hose to Covid

Eurobodalla Mayor, Mat Hatcher, has announced that he has Covid and will be in isolation for a week. The Covid positive result came while Mayor Hatcher was in Sydney attending the Local Government NSW conference. Seen last week "holding the hose" as he was photographed inspecting the new Batemans Bay pool the Mayor is being playfully compared to the Prime Minister who claimed "I don't hold the hose, mate," and apparently has also succumbed to Covid. It is not known what curries the Mayor enjoys making but without doubt we can expect more masalas from the Prime Minister and his social media accounts while he is also in isolation as his ratings continue to plummet, especially on the South Coast where he hasn't made a reappearance since his Cobargo handshake embarrassment. Will the Prime Minister make an endorsement appearance to show support of the Liberal candidates of Eden Monaro and Gilmore in the upcoming Federal election? Interesting months ahead.

Tested positive for COVID-19 and currently at a flood evacuation centre?
