Fire-ravaged communities 'victims of climate change', says doctor

Doctors in towns along Australia's east coast are now trying to help their communities heal, as the long-term physical and psychological toll of this year's bushfires starts to become clear.

Among them is Michelle Hamrosi, a GP in the Batemans Bay area on the New South Wales South Coast.

Last year, the Australian Medical Association declared climate change a global emergency, and Dr Hamrosi says her community have become victims of climate change.
