Final design for the new South Durras playground

The final design for the new South Durras playground is out now following discussions late last year between Eurobodalla Shire Council, the Association and local community members. The new playground will be located adjacent to the soccer oval and skatepark. Council will also be installing playground fencing along the edge of the car park for added safety, with an entry way in alignment with the rubber softfall behind the slides.

The design includes a small bridge to link the existing shared pathway with the playground, which is both a nice feature and will help manage waterflow in this low-lying area after heavy rains.

Council advise that the playground equipment is now being manufactured and they anticipate installation between the Easter and winter school holidays.
