Festival of Play bringing fun and healing to locals

Campbell Page Helping Hands program has joined forces with Be Centre and South Coast Play Therapy to host the Festival of Play, aimed at supporting local children and families

impacted by the recent bushfires and COVID-19. Locals in Nelligen, Mogo and Narooma are invited to this fun filled, 3-day event that will see children and adults engage in a series of creative play and sensory art workshops.

Play therapy is a powerful way for children and adults to process their thoughts, feelings

and reactions to challenging events. This festival provides an opportunity for locals to come

together in a relaxed environment, have some fun and heal through sessions facilitated by

play therapy experts.

Day one of the Festival of Play kicks off on Tuesday 29 September at the Nelligen Mechanics Institute Hall. Day two will take the event to Boomerang Meeting Place in Mogo on Wednesday 30 September and the event will finish up on Thursday 1 October at Narooma Public school.

All sessions are pending NSW Health restrictions due to COVID-19 and all attendees must

register prior to the workshops. This means numbers are limited so book your space now!

To find out more, or to register for the event, please contact Anita Macartney of Campbell
