Fatal crash at Coila

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s South Coast.

About 11.30pm (Thursday 19 December 2019), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, Coila, about 14km south of Moruya, after reports of a crash.

Police believe the vehicle left the road and rolled, before coming to a stop on its roof.

A 28-year-old man died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

Officers from South Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
