Excellent turnout for World Championship Gold Buckle Campdraft at Willinga Park

It was a massive welcome back to the World Championship Gold Buckle Campdraft at Willinga Park across the weekend. Spectators came from far and wide to see Australia’s best campdrafters compete for the whopping $286,000 in prize money that was up for grabs, including $100,000 for the prestigious winner of the Gold Buckle final on the last day.

The Gold Buckle Final was broadcast live on 7Mate from 12 pm on Saturday 15 May 2021, with a special program showcasing Willinga Park half an hour earlier. Organisers say of the weekend "We had a brand new sponsor in Volkswagen and a brand new Gold Buckle Champion in Michael Hiscock. Congratulations also goes to our new Cut Out Champion Andrew Turvey, our Ladies Dash for Cash Champion, Coco Willsallen and our inaugural State of Origin Champions – Team NSW featuring Troy Palmer, Sarah Cookson and Hugh Miles.

"We’d like to extend a big thankyou to all of our competitors, sponsors and spectators for making this the biggest and best Campdraft we’ve seen at Willinga Park.

Look out for 2022!!!

"Make sure you head on over to our facebook page where you can see all of the photos and videos from the weekend. We will also be adding some of our livestream footage to the website in the coming days – so stay tuned."
