Street Photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place, provided a challenging topic for the monthly competition of the eurobodalla photographic club. Entries from members covered a wide range of subjects, from street traders to rural transport, with the winning image of the night depicting the effect of an erupting volcano on a midday scene in Galunggung.
Our thanks are extended to Mick Newnham who not only judged the monthly competition but spoke at length on the topic of the August competition, selective focus.
The evening ended with an introductory tutorial on the use of Adobe Photoshop to enhance and correct digital images presented by Colin Pass. In the near future the club will be holding sessions on a Saturday morning to give interested member the chance to become competent in the use of Photoshop, Photoshop elements and similar applications.

The Eurobodalla Photographic Club meets at 7.00pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month except December, at the Tomakin Community Centre Ainslie Pde Tomakin. Visitors and new members welcome.
