FREE TRAINING (eligibility applies)
1. Kickstart your career in events, hospitality or management! We’re offering free, nationally accredited training to get you skilled to work as a festival volunteer. You’ll train for four days, where you’ll learn about:
working safely on an event site
providing information to visitors
directing eventgoers to amenities
supporting event activities.
You’ll then put your skills into practice with a four-hour volunteer shift at the Crank it Up festival and/or the Youth Colour Run. To be eligible you must be 17-24 years old or unemployed/underemployed. Young people still enrolled in school are not eligible for this training.
