Elite Skydivers Coming to Skydive Oz & Eurobodalla

This week Skydive Oz will be hosting over 100 jumpers, including an all-star crew of elite skydivers from around the world at an extreme skydiving event in Moruya. The event will run from this Thursday - Saturday, the 13th - 16th February. Sarah Gordon of Skydive Oz told The Beagle "The impact of the bushfires on Skydive Oz and the region has been significant, so we’re excited to bring such a large group of skydivers to the skies over Moruya! "We will welcome elite skydivers from the Red Bull Skydive Team, Canopy Distance and Speed Women’s World Record Holder Carnelia Mihai, World Champion Dennis Praet and our own World Medal Holder Jules McConnell just to name a few! "The “Jyro Boogie”, as the occasion is called, is a private event held in memory of Paul “Jryo” Martyn, one of the biggest legends in skydiving. "Jyro, was a mad scientist, creative genius, fun-loving dad and founder of the world’s second largest skydiving parachute manufacturer. This is the third anniversary of the boogie and brings skydivers from across Australia, New Zealand and around the world together to pay tribute to Jyro Many attendees are coming to Skydive Oz and Eurobodalla for the first time - and we can’t wait to show them the beauty and hospitality of the south coast!"
