EFTAG’s Next Exhibition: ‘Connections to our Place’

EFTAG (Eurobodalla Fibre and Textile Artists’ Group) is again holding its annual members

exhibition.

Opening: Friday July 2 at 6pm

Mechanics Institute, Page St, Moruya

To be opened by Ngarigo and Walbunga woman, Iris White

The exhibition runs from

Saturday July 3 to Sunday July 11, 10 am to 4pm

The events over the last year with its restrictions and limited travel have focused our

attention closer to home. It has given us the opportunity to become more intimate with our

own home, garden, places in our neighbourhood, in nature and our own community. This has been a time when we have renewed our connections with our favourite places and also learnt to value the connections with our family, friends and community.

The theme for this year's exhibition, ‘Connections to… our Place’, allows our members to

express their response to and experience of our valued connections to places that we all value or which have special meaning for us.

EFTAG promotes fibre and textile arts and expands the knowledge and creative abilities of

all our members. It is recognised as a dynamic, innovative and inspiring group of fibre and

textile artists. We stimulate, inspire and resource members to strive for excellence in their

established and emerging textile arts practice.
