Drivers asked to avoid George Bass Drive at Guerilla Bay today

Last night’s wet weather has lifted the bitumen seal off the road on George Bass Drive at Guerilla Bay.

Eurobodalla Council crews are onsite assessing damage and providing traffic control.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area today, but if that’s not possible please drive under 40km/hour in the vicinity. Storm damage elsewhere is being assessed, and work crews are taking care of a few fallen trees creating hazards near roads. Take extra care on the roads today and report any damage to the council’s after hours number on 1800 755 760.
