Dredging at Tuross Head continues

Removal of sand build up at the foot of the Tuross Boat Ramp has commenced today with the balance to be completed tomorrow (4.11.21) - thanks to Eurobodalla Shire staff.

The Ramp is closed today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) only.

A number launched their boats today but were back in time for the 10am closure.

The ramp is reopened at 6pm for those wanting to launch/fish late in the day.

Max Castle of Tuross Head said "This has come at a great time prior to the influx of visitors expected to arrive in the next couple of months. Interesting the missing yellow bollard was located. These are used to attach small craft during the launching and retrieving process."
