Dr Michael Holland retains Bega

As at 8.30pm March 25th, 2023, Dr Michael Holland has received 44.98 per cent of first preference votes counted so far for the seat of Bega. By comparison Liberal candidate Russell Fitzpatrick has attracted a mere 28.67 per cent of first preferences. In the two candidate preferred count, Dr Holland was well in front, 61.1 per cent to 38.9 per cent based on votes counted by 8.30pm. Based on previous elections it might be some time before the Liberal candidate concedes defeat.

No surprise though was it. Some of the past opportunists left leaving some bad tastes around the place.

TT or PC whoever you are, it seems to me you have a poor understanding, interpretation of what some comments actually mean, or their intentions might be. I don't have a problem with the results.

The state election results might be a very good thing for NSW.

The states collected tax bucket of peoples money can only do so much, can't it. The past attitude of public asset sales didn't help with the cost of living either. In fact it assisted with cost of living increases, didn't it? Many of those who were employed to manage the peoples business were only in it for a fee ride.
