Federal member for Gilmore, Fiona Phillips, is pleased to announce applications for the federal Disaster Recovery Allowance are now OPEN and are available to residents within the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven Local Government Areas.
Mrs Phillips saying, “following the storms and flooding last week it was critical that payments be made as soon as possible.”
“The financial support, which can extend for 13 weeks, is available to those who lost income as a result of the floods,” Mrs Phillips said. The first step in claiming the Disaster Recovery Allowance is via telephone assistance – 180 22 66. Eligibility requirements do apply.
