Disabled boat washes ashore at Broulee

Marine Rescue NSW report: A disabled boat drifting towards the coastline has washed up on the beach.

A crew from Marine Rescue Batemans Bay responded to rescue the two people on board 150m off Broulee, along with Surf Life Saving NSW Rescue vessel Batemans 30, with David Murn, Greg Lee, Deborah Everson White, Ned Folley and Adam Rehardt on board, is under way, along with Surf Life Saving NSW personnel. Communications support in the unit radio room is being provided by Deb Morgan, Peter Johnson and Rick Rick Jansen.

The cuddy cabin had its V sheet out but had no anchor or radio on board.

Always check you have the safety gear you need for your planned voyage.

The crew of Batemans 30 has been stood down.
